These 2 cufflink designs were inspired by a 'C and Crown' detail on the campus wrought iron railing and by the famous brass lion's head door knocker. They were handmade at our foundry in England, which makes the hardware for the royal carriages at Buckingham Palace.
The coaster carries the same 'C and Crown' detail from the railing. It was handmade in England by pouring molten brass into a bespoke sand-cast mold.
Our paperweights are handmade with the same gold and silver gilt metal wire thread used for the Guards' uniforms at Buckingham Palace. This one carries the name of The 1754 Society.
The design was inspired by the vaulted blue and gold arches in Russell Hall, at the entrance to the Gottesman Libraries at Teachers College. We studied the shape and geometric arrangement of the arches from photographs, then set the pattern at a very large scale for the silk scarf and greatly reduced it for the tie.
Every Harris Made commission follows the same 3 steps: a conversation with Emma, our designer and co-founder, about what makes your institution special; samples for your approval before production; and a final inspection by Emma before each gift is wrapped in a client-branded presentation box. See our process, or explore our university recognition gifts.
Tell us about the people you want to recognize and the story you want to tell. We'll design a bespoke gift to be cherished and made to last a lifetime.
